On 16 August 2026, Pryluky hosted the Open Cup of the City of Pryluky in Grappling, bringing together 48 participants from six clubs for a focused day of competition.
The programme covered three categories and three divisions, with athletes contesting both grappling and grappling-gi formats. Youth brackets formed a major part of the event, including U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17 age groups, alongside a masters division.
The busiest fields were in U11 and U15 grappling, while U13 competitors also featured across grappling and grappling-gi. The varied structure gave participants clear targets across age-specific divisions and rulesets throughout the day.
The Pryluky event created an energetic setting for clubs and athletes to share the mat, test their skills and represent their teams in a broad grappling programme.
The Open Cup of the City of Pryluky in Grappling added another lively chapter to the local combat-sports calendar, with young athletes and experienced competitors united by the same competitive spirit. Grappling #Pryluky #GrapplingGi #CombatSports
