From 13 to 19 September 2026, JEB's 2026 - Karate brought a lively week of action to Brasília - DF, Brasil, in the Federal District, Brazil. The event gathered 234 participants from 26 clubs, creating a busy and competitive atmosphere across the tatami.
The program centered on Individual 2012-2014 competition in both kumite and kata, with boys’ and girls’ divisions spread across the listed weight classes and open categories. Athletes were competing for honors in categories from Cód 03 -45 kg through Cód 10 +54 kg, alongside Cód 01 Masculino and Cód 02 Feminino in kata.
In the medal standings, FEERJ-RJ finished first, FCDE-SC took second, and FEDEPE-PE placed third. Among the standout names in the results were JOAO FILIPE SILVA DA CUNHA, ANA JULIA SOARES OLIVEIRA, and PAMELA FERREIRA MEDEIROS, all of whom featured prominently among the top athletes by wins.
FEERJ-RJ set the pace at the top of the table and was the dominant team of the event, edging a strong field with the best overall score. JOAO FILIPE SILVA DA CUNHA also stood out as one of the key performers of the championship after turning his category run into one of the most notable individual efforts of the week.
